Atlantis Quest by Gloria Craw

Atlantis Quest.ca.jpg**an Atlantis Rising series novel by Gloria Craw

After all they’d cost me, I thought I was done with the Truss clan. I was wrong. Nikki Dawning, my mortal enemy, has been kidnapped, and I’ve been asked to spy on the Truss to find her. The pull between Ian and I has never been stronger, but he can’t help me this time. I have to rely on Theron, a bad-tempered cousin I didn’t know I had. To make matters worse, the people I trust have been keeping secrets.

I’m starting to feel like a weapon in a war I don’t understand. How far am I willing to go to protect the descendants of Atlantis and the common good when I’m not sure what the common good is anymore?

Only one thing is certain. If I’m the next Laurel clan chief, I can’t let myself be manipulated…by anyone.

Once again I am impressed with Gloria Craw! We continue to follow Alison in her quest to learn more about being a dewing yet trying to get the most of her time left with her family before she has to leave so they won’t discover her secret once she stops aging.

We get to continue loving Ian and, for me at least, hoping for a soul match pairing. Unfortunately, Alison is so negative about her ability to find a match that she may let a good thing get away.
Theron, Alison’s cousin, makes his first appearance in Atlantis Quest and I love him. He is snarky and sarcastic and at times, downright rude, but that is just fine because he can match Alison comment for comment and their banter sometimes made me actually laugh but mostly I smiled every time they spoke to one another.
I love how he gets Alison. She needed someone that she didn’t have to explain why she feels the way she does and doesn’t have to feel bad for her humanity. I am excited at what his abilities are going to be.
I can’t wait to see how Alison will infiltrate the Tress and become a chief. I think between her and Phoebe, there is a change coming!

I received a copy of this book through the publisher, Entangled Publishing and Netgalley in return for my honest review. This in no way altered my opinion.

I grew up in the desert southwest, inspired everyday by the wide skies and rich colors around me. I attended the University of Utah where I majored and got a degree in anthropology. These days, I live in the burbs just outside of Seattle, Washington. I’m married and have four daughters. When I’m not running them to volleyball or swimming, I’m reading, writing or fangirling over some TV show.

  1. My favorite TV show is Grimm (I ship Nick and Adalind).
  2. I love McDonalds French Fries dipped in ranch dressing.
  3. I generally write while sitting on the sofa or on my bed (I have desk-a-phobia).
  4. Growing up, I loved Mystery novels.
  5. I’ve always kind of wanted to work for the FBI.
  6. I haven’t been to Italy but I really want to go.
  7. My guilty pleasure is watching Olicity and Nadalind fan videos on youtube.
  8. I have a dog named Timber.
  9. I like Justin Bieber as much as my daughters do.
  10. When no one is around, I like to drive too fast.
